Mrs. JoAnn Mancil Grantham, age 82, of Rossville, Georgia, formerly of Coffee County, Georgia, passed away Monday morning, January 26, 2026, at her residence following a lengthy decline in health.
Mrs. Grantham was born August 20, 1943, in Coffee County to the late Noah Mancil, Sr. and the late Florence Newbern Mancil. She worked in retail sales for many years, but her most rewarding occupation was homemaker for her late husband, Vince Grantham, and raising her family. She attended West Ward Church of God prior to moving away from Coffee County. Along with her husband and parents, Mrs. Grantham was preceded in death by three siblings: Norman Mancil, Pauline Hall, and Jean Phillips.
Mrs. Grantham leaves behind a daughter, Charlotte Spires (Wally), of Cadwell, Georgia; a son, Gregory Grantham of Dallas, Georgia; a granddaughter, Cambri Jones (Ricky) of Eastman, Georgia; a grandson, Cole Spires (Kyleigh) of Cadwell, Georgia; two great grandsons, Avery Spires, and J. T. Spires; four brothers: Billy Mancil of Douglas, Georgia, Bobby Mancil of Broxton, Georgia, Charles Mancil of Savannah, Georgia and Noah Mancil, Jr of Douglas, GA; two sisters: Sandra Jameson of Douglas, Georgia, and Mary Pruitt of Gadsden, Alabama; along with several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Mrs. Grantham’s family will receive friends on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM, at Ricketson Funeral Home Chapel. Her funeral will be held at 3:00 PM at Ricketson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Mancil officiating. Interment will follow in Grantham Cemetery.
