60-year-old Cleveland Tanksley of Douglas was arrested on illegal drug charges following what authorities call a lengthy investigation inside the city of Douglas.
According to a sheriff’s office incident report, agents from the Douglas-Coffee County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 103 Spooner Court in Douglas. When agents entered the home, they discovered a quantity of crack cocaine, powder cocaine, cash, digital scales, and a handgun.
As a result of the investigation, Tanksley was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute. He was transported to the Coffee County Jail and later released on a $5,500 bond.
