Mrs. Linda Annette Carver Hutcheson, age 69, of Ambrose, Georgia, passed away Sunday morning, June 7, 2026, at Ascension St. Vincent’s Riverside Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida, following a recent illness.
Linda was born May 12, 1957, in Ocilla, Georgia, to the late Willis Carver and the late Josephine Lott Carver. She married her soul mate, Vernon Carlyle Hutcheson, and they spent 42 years making a loving home together and raising their two sons. She found her greatest joy in being a loving wife and mother, but she also enjoyed painting and reading. She was of the Baptist faith. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Calvin Carver.
Linda leaves behind her devoted husband of 42 years, Vernon Carlyle Hutcheson of Ambrose, Georgia; two sons, Matthew Hutcheson and Mark Hutcheson, both of Ambrose, Georgia; one brother, J.D. Carver and wife, Jan, of Douglas, Georgia; one sister-in-law, Gale Carver of Douglas, Georgia; along with a number of nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
Linda’s family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, June 10, 2026, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, at Ricketson Funeral Home, Inc. A graveside funeral service and interment will be held to honor her on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 11:00 AM, at Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery.
