Linda Christian Jackson, age 84 of Dacula, GA, passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2026. Family and friends are invited to gather for a meal at 11:30 am, followed by visitation from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm on Monday, October 26, 2026, at Reedy Branch Baptist Church, Broxton, GA. A graveside service will immediately follow at Reedy Branch Baptist Church Cemetery, Broxton, GA with Rev. Jeremy Cox officiating.
In honor of Linda’s love of the color blue, the family invites those attending the service to wear blue. Linda was a woman of deep faith, unwavering kindness, and a generous spirit. She loved deeply and without reservation. To her husband, she was a devoted partner. To her children, she was a source of endless love and encouragement. To her grandchildren, she was a joy and a safe place, and to her siblings, a lifelong friend. Blessed with a wonderful sense of humor, she could find joy in everyday moments, and laughter was a constant part of any conversation with her. Above all, she loved Jesus, and that faith shaped the way she cared for everyone around her. Her gentle spirit, contagious laughter, and unwavering love will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ludell (Merritt) and Israel Putman Christian; and brother, Richard Edwin Christian. Linda is survived by her husband, Jerry Jackson of Dacula, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Alexia and John Cundey of Dacula, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Erica and Thomas Johnstone of Hoschton, GA; grandchildren, Audrey Cundey, Christian and Shelby Johnstone, Jacob Cundey, Andrew Johnstone, Owen Cundey; sister, Lula Deen of Brunswick, GA; sister, Lucy Keene of Jacksonville, FL; sister, Gennell Hand of Jesup, GA; sister, Sue Wooten of Brunswick, GA; sister, Carolyn Christian of Artesia, NM; brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Ruth Christian of Broxton, GA; brother, Tommy Jack Christian of Broxton, GA; brother, Alvin Christian of Broxton, GA; and several nieces and nephews.
