Mr. Randall Cory White, age 45, passed away Sunday morning, April 5, 2026, at Coffee Regional Medical Center following a courageous battle with cancer.
Randy was born October 2, 1980, in Douglas, Georgia, to Jeraldine McKinnon Purvis and the late James Columbus White. He made his career as an auto mechanic, recently working for Mavis Tires and Brakes in Douglas, Georgia, and he was of the Baptist faith. Randy was a loving father to his four children. He could often be found playing video games on his PlayStation or fishing in local ponds, but he found his greatest joy in time spent with his family and friends. Along with his father, Randy was preceded in death by his grandparents: Randall McKinnon, James White, Sr., and Stella Fisher.
Randy is survived by his four children: Randall “Cory” White, Jr., Zachary White, and Alec White, all of Broxton, Georgia, as well as Aubrey White of Douglas, Georgia; his mother, Jeraldine Purvis of Douglas, Georgia; his brother, Brent Purvis of Douglas, Georgia; two step sisters: Shannon Connell (Ray) of Folkston, Georgia, and Jamie Purvis of Jacksonville, Florida; his grandmother, Dollie Mae McKinnon of Douglas, Georgia; two aunts: Marie Henry (Gerald) of Vidalia, Georgia, and Mary Lynn Musgrove (Paul) of Douglas, Georgia; a special friend, Stephanie English of Douglas, Georgia; along with a number of extended family members.
Randy’s family will receive friends at Ricketson Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM. His funeral will begin at 4:00 PM in the Ricketson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gerald Henry officiating. Interment will follow in Arna Cemetery in Atkinson County.
Randy’s family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Ricketson Funeral Home to assist with Randy’s service expenses.
