Officers arrested a 27-year-old on robbery charges after he allegedly stole a friend’s cell phone because the friend didn’t buy him a bag of weed, according to a report from the Douglas Police Department.
The report says that on February 10, 2026, at around 8:25 p.m., a Douglas police officer responded to a Wynn Avenue address in reference to a robbery. When the officer arrived, the complainant stated that an individual identified as Cameron Terrell Alls, 27, of Douglas, accused the complainant of not buying him some weed after Alls gave him $10 for that purpose. The report says that the complainant stated that Alls grabbed his phone and took off running. However, the complainant stated that Alls never gave him $10, according to the report.
The DPD officer, along with a deputy from the sheriff’s office, went to a Mahogany Road mobile home park to see Alls. They found him sitting in a van; Alls said he was rolling a joint when they arrived. The DPD officer called the complainant’s number and a phone in the van rang.
Alls stated that he had given the complainant $10 but the complainant never returned it. So Alls took the complainant’s phone. Alls was arrested and charged with robbery and giving false name/information to police. He was transported to the Coffee County Jail and later released.
