Ronnie Edwin Crosby, age 65, of Pearson, GA, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 2, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 2, 1961, the son of the late Mr. Saulter Crosby and the late Mrs. Lucille Crosby.
His survivors include: his beloved wife, Judy Ann Crosby of Pearson, GA; one daughter, Tracey (James) Mizell of Homerville, GA; one son, Eddie (Melissa) Crosby of Blackshear, GA; six grandchildren, Savannah (Jack) Jewell, Brooklyn Mizell, Leigha Crosby, Ellie Crosby, Becky Thigpen, and Danny Thigpen; one great-grandchild, Emery Jewell; one brother, Raymond (Denise) Crosby of Axson, GA; three sisters, Lawanda Faulk of Douglas, GA, Yolanda Crosby of Axson, GA, and Darlene (Clint) Waldron of Douglas, GA; brother-in-law, Johnny (Lesia) Woods, along with several nieces, nephews, and friends. Mr. Crosby was preceded in death by his parents, Saulter Crosby and Lucille Crosby, and a nephew, Donovan Faulk.
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 5, 2026, at Sims Funeral Home in Douglas, GA, from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at Oakgrove Holiness Baptist Church in Ware County, GA, with Rev. Willie Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Oakgrove Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will include: Cameron Faulk, Waylon Faulk, Cohen Crosby, Jonathan Crosby, Johnny Woods Jr., and Andrew Waldron.
Honorary pallbearers will include: Vista Park Staff and Affinity Hospice Staff.
