Rosa Lee Williams, age 64, of Douglas, GA; passed away peacefully on Monday, March 9, 2026, at Candler Hospital in Savannah, GA. She was born on July 12, 1961, the daughter of the late Mr. Joel William Royals and the late Mrs. Alma Royals.
Her survivors include: her beloved husband, Johnny Kenneth Williams of Douglas, GA; one daughter, Amanda Gilliard of Douglas, GA; one grandchild, Conor Gilliard; two sisters, Christine (Michael) Lott of West Green, GA; and Peggy (Henry) Taylor of Douglas, GA; two special nieces, Connie (Jamie) Rivera of West Green, GA; and Nikki (Randy) Braddy of Douglas, GA; two great nephews, Camdon Braddy and Kole Braddy; two great nieces, Emberleigh Braddy and Haley (Johnathan) Sapp. She was preceded in death by: father, Joel William Royals; mother, Alma Royals; daughter, April Michelle Griffis; and brother, Johnny Royals.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at Sims Funeral Home in Douglas, GA; from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026, at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home in Douglas, GA; at 2:00 PM, with Rev. Jamie Rivera officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will include: Casey Wright, Aaron Wright, Daniel Gilliard, Johnathan Hall, Ben Anderson, and Jamie Tarrant.
Music selections were made by the family: “Dancing in the Sky”, “Scars in Heaven” and “What a Day that Will Be”.
