Coffee County Schools recognized School Counselor Appreciation Week from February 2-6. As part of Counselor Appreciation Week, the 2nd Annual Counselor’s Symposium was held on February 5 at Covenant Church. Coffee County social workers presented the counselor symposium as an opportunity for professional learning, collaboration, and recognition of the meaningful impact counselors make every day.
School counselors play a vital role in supporting the academic success, mental health, and overall well-being of students across the district. The system appreciates all that they do for the students within the Coffee County School System, and the system would like to thank them for their dedication, compassion, and support. Their guidance and encouragement make a difference every day.
Social Services would also like to thank the generosity of community partners who have shown their appreciation through providing thoughtful gifts and door prizes to the counselors.
