The Douglas Lions Club proudly sponsored and honored the STAR 2026 winners on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at the Douglas Golf & Country Club.
From Coffee High School, Mylee Mills was recognized as the STAR Student and Jerry Hill was selected as her STAR Teacher. Mylee was also named STAR Student for Coffee County, and she and Mr. Hill will compete for recognitions at the regional and state levels. From Wiregrass Regional College and Career Academy, Karoline Sailors was recognized as the STAR Student and Eric Nwawel was selected as her STAR Teacher.
The PAGE STAR Program recognizes outstanding high school seniors who earn the highest SAT score on a single test date and rank in the top 10 percent of their class. Each STAR Student honors an influential teacher, and together they compete for recognition and scholarships at the school, system, regional, and state levels.
