Lead surgeon Dr. Foster and her assistants (3rd grade students) from Ambrose Elementary performed surgery on multiplication arrays. Students learned about the distributive property of multiplication and how to break apart larger arrays into smaller arrays. Students did a spectacular job and loved being surgeons for a day.
