Mr. Tommie Dorminey, age 83 of Douglas, GA, passed away Tuesday afternoon March 21, 2023 at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Dorminey was born September 23, 1939 to the late Chester Arthur Dorminey and Clara Mae Odum Dorminey. Other than his parents, he was also preceded in death by a daughter: Cathy Dorminey Davis and 5 Siblings: Earl Dorminey, Betty Jean Dorminey, Daphine Dorminey, Linda Ann Morrison and Vick Dorminey.
Mr. Dorminey, a native of Coffee County, had been a farmer for 50 years. He owned and operated Dorminey Freezer Locker. Mr. Dorminey was a member of St. Illa Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends, Thursday evening, March 23, 2023 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Ricketson Funeral Home. The graveside service and interment will be held on Friday morning, March 24, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St. Illa Church Cemetery with Rev. Vernon Dorminey officiating.
