A traffic stop on September 2, 2026, at 9 p.m. near Pinecrest Drive and Brantley Boulevard landed a 44-year-old in jail on an active warrant out of Florida.
According to a report from the Douglas Police Department, an officer noticed a black Hyundai Sonata that had a suspended registration. The officer conducted a traffic stop and discovered that the driver, identified as Kendrick LaDarrian Richardson, 44, of Douglas, had an active probation warrant out of Madison County, Florida.
Coffee E911 contacted Madison County authorities who said they wanted a hold placed on Richardson. He was arrested and transported to the Coffee County Jail and booked on a fugitive from justice (outstanding warrant from another state) charge.
