Wayne Franklin Deen, age 68, of Alma, Georgia, passed away on Friday, December 9, 2022 at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Deen was born on April 30, 1954 to the late James Albert Deen and Frances Leola Anderson Deen.
Survivors include: One Daughter; Candace Espinoza (Nakia Johnson) of Alma, GA, Two Sons; Phillip Deen (Ualanda Collins) of Douglas, GA, Anthony Deen of Alma, GA, Ten Grandchildren; Tony Deen Jr., Cody Deen (Brianna), Hannah Az (Johnathan), Jade Espinoza (Anthony), Hector Espinoza (Karly), Robert Denmark III (Cassie), Tristan Denmark, Brandon Denmark (Kayla), Corbin Collins, Orion Collins, Two Great-Grandchildren; Scarlett Az, Kingston Denmark, and One Sister; Brenda Stone (J.J.) of Ambrose, GA, and several Nieces and Nephews. Mr. Deen was preceded in death by his Parents; James Albert Deen and Frances Leola Anderson Deen, Two Children; Sherry Denmark and Stacey Deen, Three Brothers; James A. Deen Jr., Charles D. Deen, and Charlton W. Deen, Two Grandchildren, Jasmine Deen and Alexander Denmark.
The family will receive friends on Monday, December 12, 2022, from 6PM until 9PM at Sims Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at 2PM, at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. John Carver officiating. The interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in Atkinson County, GA.
Active Pallbearers will be: Hector Espinoza, Cody Deen, Brandon Denmark, Tristan Denmark, and Xavier Maddison.
