Wendy Littleton Berryhill, 59 yr. old of Zirconia, NC, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2026, following complications from cancer.
Wendy, the youngest of four daughters, was born in 1966 in Beaumont, TX, to Patricia Hammond Littleton and William H. Littleton. She attended Richfield High School in Waco, TX, and later graduated from Coffee County High School in Douglas, GA. Wendy pursued a BS in Education at Georgia Southern University and Mars Hill University in NC. She had taught in Waco, Lewisville, Texas, and Polk County, North Carolina, schools, but held a special love for Saluda Elementary School in Saluda, NC, where she spent most of her career. Her final position was as an Art Teacher, her true passion.
Wendy was married to William B. Kinney of LA Cañada/Pasadena, CA. They had one daughter, Karina Kinney. She was later married to Glenn Berryhill, who had one son, Jordan Berryhill.
Wendy was a member of the Junior League of Pasadena when she lived in California. She organized the after-school Geography Club at Saluda School to study cultures and countries around the world. Wendy’s greatest joy in life was her daughter Karina. She cherished her four-legged companions, mostly Boston Terriers. Her artistic spirit, unique perspective, and generous nature will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Wendy was preceded in death by her husbands, Karina’s father, William B. Kinney, and Glenn Berryhill, and by her parents, Patricia Littleton Klefeker and William H. Littleton.
She is survived by her beloved daughter Karina Kinney; sisters Bonnie (Ed) Carpenter, Becky Sims (Chuck), Kathy (Curt) Fisher; and her nieces and nephews, Greg (Julia) Carpenter, Haley Carpenter, Will Carpenter, Charlie Sims, Vick (Baylee) Sims, Greer (Anna) Sims, three great nieces and three great nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, March 27, 2026, at 11 am at Christ Church Frederica, St. Simon’s Island, GA, with burial to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Boston Terrier Rescue of East Tennessee (www.bostonterriertn.org), The Humane Society, or Agape Care Upstate Community Hospice House, Landrum, SC (carnationfoundation.org).
