Hurst and Hurst CPAs is pleased to announce the merger of Guilford Bookkeeping and Tax Services with Hurst and Hurst CPAs effective January 1, 2019. This merger will expand Hurst and Hurst’s offering in the small business and agriculture sectors. The combined firm will operate under the Hurst and Hurst CPA name which has earned a reputation for delivering superior service to small businesses and individuals. This merger will expand their client base and allow them to continue to deliver a broad suite of tax, accounting, and investment services as well as offer the latest technological platforms to their clients.

 

“This is an exchange between two people with deeply shared values,” said Robb Hurst, President of Hurst and Hurst CPAs. “John Guilford and I believe in treating clients with integrity, professionalism, and respect and, as a firm deeply ingrained in the small business, agriculture, and individual tax sectors,” Hurst said, “we believe Guilford’s clients complement ours very well. Mr. Guilford has an outstanding reputation for client service. I am looking forward to assuming his responsibilities as he begins a well-deserved transition into retirement.
