Mr. Homer Cecil Hutcheson, age 76 of Douglas, passed away Wednesday evening, August 27, 2014, at Summer’s Landing following an extended illness.

Survivors include his wife, Betsy Burch Hutcheson of Douglas; three daughters, Cecile Hutcheson (Jeffery) Dockery of Nicholls, Tori H. (Wayne) Gober of Douglas, and Vickie H. (Van) Lucas of Des Moines, Iowa; one son, Chris (Tana) Hutcheson of Douglas; two brothers, Wendell Hutcheson of Douglas and Billy Hutcheson of Covington; two sisters, Nadine Radcliff of Blairsville and Jo Ann Smith of Brunswick; twelve grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.

Funeral services were held Saturday, August 30, 2014, at the chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home, with the interment following at the Douglas City Cemetery. 

Ricketson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
