Lucy Blanchard, age 69, of Crawfordville, FL passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2014, at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Blanchard was born on March 8, 1945, in Pearson, GA to the late Warren Worth and Julia Eliza Wildes Worth.
Survivors include: her daughter, Sharon Dixon of Crawfordville, FL; three sons, David Isaac Blanchard of Ocoee, FL, Dewayne Blanchard of Tallahassee, FL, and Michael Blanchard of Crawfordville, FL; two brothers, Jesse Warren Worth of Chatsworth, GA and Marvin Worth of Belleview, FL; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Blanchard.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15, 2014 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home. Poem read by Doris Gloy. Music was furnished for the service by CD “Amazing Grace”, “See You Again”, and “Go Rest High On That Mountain”. Interment will follow at Jowers Chapel Cemetery.
