The City of Douglas Police Department issued the following statement this week:
Due to recent crime activity, the City of Douglas Police Department and local officials are encouraging citizens throughout the city to form Neighborhood Watch Programs.
Certain protocols and procedures, under the direction of a law enforcement officer, must occur prior to forming a Neighborhood Watch Program.
