Steve Carver, Coffee County Fire Chief and EMA Director, was the speaker at the Douglas Kiwanis Club meeting of Tuesday, Feb. 17 at the Flyin’ Cowboy restaurant.
Carver spoke about Project Lifesaver and how it is used to locate at risk people who go missing. He also covered the facts and figures of the fire department to include its funding.
