The Satilla Regional Library System will be holding the following programs during the month of April for children and teens. For more information about upcoming children and teen programs, please call Julie Macomber, Children’s and Young Adult Librarian, at (912) 384-4667 ext. 222. Audio Spot Auditions for Children and Teens Ages 9-18 years

Come and audition for a public service announcement to possibly be played on the radio promoting our new children’s and young adult books. Auditions will be held at all locations in Douglas, Broxton, Ambrose, Pearson, Willacoochee, and Nicholls. Please call Miss Julie at (912) 384-4667 ext. 222 to schedule an appointment at any of our locations.

Board Games, Cards, and Puzzles for Children and Teens

All branches include an assortment of board games, cards, and puzzles that can be played at any time. Come and check one out to use at each location.

Story and Craft Program at all locations!!

Douglas: Monday, April 6, 13, 20, and 27 at 3:30 p.m.
Broxton: Tuesday, April 7, 14, 21, and 28 at 3:30 p.m.
Ambrose: Tuesday, April 7, 14, 21, and 28 at 4:45 p.m.
Pearson: Wednesday, April 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29 at 3:30 p.m.
Willacoochee: April 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29 at 4:45 p.m.
Nicholls: Thursday, April 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30 at 3:30 p.m.

Coffee High School Drama Club Reader’s Theatre in Douglas!

Come join us on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 12:30 p.m. in the Children’s Room for Coffee High School Drama Club’s Reader’s Theatre. Come and see stories be acted out by drama club members and students. Fun for the family on a Saturday.

Douglas Pajama Story time

Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 10:30 a.m.

Come visit the Douglas-Coffee County Children’s Room for stories in your pajamas. You are welcome to bring a stuffed animal and blanket. This is held once a month on Saturday.

Toddler Story time and Playtime in Douglas

Toddler story time will be held from 10:00-10:45 a.m. at the Douglas-Coffee County Public Library for ages 18 months-3 years old in the Children’s Room on Wednesday, April 1, 2015.

Broxton: Monday, April 6, 13, 20, and 27 at 4:30 p.m.
Willacoochee: Saturday, April 4 and 18 at 12:30 p.m.

Broxton: Thursday, April 2, 7, and 8 at 4:30 p.m.

Teen Events

Douglas Teen Advisory Group Meetings

Saturday, April 11, 2015 from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Saturday, April 25, 2015 from 11:30 a.m-12:30 p.m.
These meetings are held in Douglas for teens that want to have a great time with other teens planning teen library programs, young adult reads, fun activities, opportunities for volunteering, and taking a leadership role. Come join us for these teen meetings. Fun for all teens.

Pearson Teen Advisory Group Meetings

Saturday, April 25, 2015 from 2:30-3:30 p.m.
