South Georgia State College’s men’s and women’s swim teams continued their winning ways Nov. 14 by placing first at the LaGrange Invitational in LaGrange, Ga.

“It was the same two teams we competed against in our home opener, but this was more of a sprint meet format. It was good to win in some other events that we didn’t swim in the first meet,” commented Head Coach CM Jenkins.

Carolyn Ives (200 freestyle, 100 freestyle, 100 individual medley), Ryan Davis (200 freestyle, 500 freestyle), Matthew Dykes (100 backstroke), Mitchell Graham (200 individual medley), Casey Pridgen (100 individual medley), Tatiana Keohan (100 breaststroke), and Bekah Morris (50 freestyle) were all winners for the Swim Hawks.

SGSC travels to Gainesville, Ga. Nov. 19-20 for the Brenau Invitational at Brenau University. For more information on meet results and future meet dates, visit www.sgsc.edu/athletics/swimming_home.cms.
