Moses Alton Denton, Jr., age 81, of Douglas, GA passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2015, at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Denton was born on September 29, 1934, in Broxton, GA to the late Moses Alton Denton, Sr and Annie Belle Baker Denton.

Survivors include: his wife, Jimmie Sue Harper Denton of Douglas, GA; daughter, Terri Dockery of Broxton, GA; two stepdaughters, Dee Dee Harper of Douglas, GA and Pennie Sue Harper of Douglas, GA; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 29, 2015 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 30, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. Marshall Adcock and Rev. Craig Jump officiating. Interment will follow at Burkett Church Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
