Members of the Coffee High School Student Council recently participated in a service project by making around 500 “Boo Boo Bunnies” for every Pre-K student in the Coffee County School System.  The “Boo Boo Bunnies” are made of a soft wash cloth that has been twisted into the shape of a small baby bunny complete with eyes, ears, nose and a round fuzzy tail.

The “Boo Boo Bunnies” hold a small piece of ice in the middle of the creation, and the young child is able to hold the ice inside the bunny up to his or her area with a boo boo.  Not only are the bunnies perfect for small hands, they also seem to have a special touch that helps to comfort the child who has been hurt and received a boo boo.

A special “thank you” is given to CHS Student Council members who helped in making all the “Boo Boo Bunnies” for Coffee County’s youngest students.  Hopefully these young students will not acquire too many “boo boos” but when they do, they will know their BIG friends at Coffee High have made something special for them to soothe the hurting.
