Evelyn Louise Youngblood, age 74, of Alma, GA passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2016, at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Youngblood was born on March 10, 1942, in Douglas, GA to the late Carlos Youngblood and Earnie Dean Thomas Youngblood.
Survivors include: her two daughters, Karen Johnson of Nicholls, GA and Calisse (Jimmy) Owens of Maryville, TN; son, Franklin Courson of Nicholls, GA; sister, Gelene Johnson of Richland, GA; brother, Carlos Lee Youngblood, Jr. of Nicholls, GA; ten grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Eddie Keith Courson.
The family will receive friends Saturday, April 9, 2016 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m at Sims Funeral Home. Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Meeks Cemetery with Rev. Nathan Greer officiating.
