Grab Your Hat and Read with the Cat! Celebrate National Education Association’s Read Across America Day. Coffee Middle School’s students are making reading a priority.  Many are being recognized during the focus on Read Across America Day.

Our reading party here at Coffee Middle School will take place on March 1 and 2 throughout the day with each grade level. Students will gather in the Commons Area for cookies and lemonade and will enjoy Dr. Seuss’ book Oh the Places You’ll Go read to them by Mrs. Berry.

Wednesday’s party will celebrate students who achieved 90 points or more in the Reading Counts programs. Thursday’s party will celebrate students who grew 100 points or more on the Scholastic Reading Inventory from August to December. Reading is rewarding in LOTS of ways!

Congratulations, students!
