Cleveland White, age 76, of Douglas, GA, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. White was born on May 23, 1940, in Dublin, GA to the Berry Pete White and Bulah Phrocine Yeomans White.
Survivors include: his wife, Georgia White of Douglas, GA; daughter, Julie (Scott) Anderson of Douglas, GA; three sons, Robin Cleveland (Carin) White of Douglas, GA, Darren Mike White of Douglas, GA, and Ryan White of Douglas, GA; nine grandchildren, Whitney Ann White, Haley Tanner, Matthew (Keely) Wiggins, Holly White, Raegan Wiggins, Brandon Wiggins, Heidy White, Cheyenne Porter, and Zane White; four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Paula (Tom) Boknevitz and Lorene (Leon) White; brother, Mike (April) White; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sherry Alice Tanner; and sister, Lou Ann Fordham.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church with Rev. George Carroll Paulk, Rev. Matt Rutland, Raegan Wiggins, and Wes Brown officiating. Interment followed at Douglas City Cemetery. Sims Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
