Mr. Richard Carlton Youghn, age 64 of Nicholls, GA, passed away late Sunday evening, December 17, 2017 at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Youghn was born June 9, 1953 to the late Wiley David Youghn, Sr. and the late Clara Smith Youghn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: brother, Wiley David Youghn, Jr.; and sister, Sharon Kay Youghn Brown.
Mr. Youghn was a native of Miami, Dade County, FL. He worked as a truck driver with Trucks, Inc. for many years. He was also a member of First Assembly of God.
Survivors include: his wife, Judy Adams Youghn of Nicholls, GA; niece, Julie Brown Wood of Douglas, GA; nephew, Wiley David Youghn III of Mississippi; a number of Cousins and a host of friends.
The funeral service will be Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 2 p.m.. at Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home with Rev. Marshall Adcock officiating. The interment will follow in Douglas City Cemetery.
