Mr. Ernest Norman Chaney, age 69, of Douglas, GA passed away on Monday, January 1, 2018, in Savannah, GA.  Mr. Chaney was born on April 12, 1948, In Davenport, Florida to the late Joseph Daniel Chaney and Alice Edna Music Chaney.

Survivors include: wife, Diane Logue Chaney of Douglas, GA.; daughter, Katrina and husband Luis Reyes of Douglas, GA.; sisters: Jeanette Westbrook of Caledonia, Mississippi and Melinda and her husband Ben Carver; brother, Alton Chaney of Lake Park, Georgia; grandchildren: Ki Tarrant and Allison Tarrant; step-granddaughter, Madison Lewis.

He was preceded in death by: father, Joseph Daniel Chaney; mother, Alice Edna Music Chaney; and sister, Willene Smith.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2018, at 2 p.m. at the Westwood Baptist Church with Rev. George Carroll Paulk and Rev. Gene Chaney officiating. Interment will follow at Westwood Baptist Church Cemetery. 

Sims Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
