Ward 1 Commissioner Edwin Taylor along with Mayor Tony Paulk, Commissioner Kentaiwon Durham and other city officials held the first Chat N’ Chew Listening Session on Monday, Jan. 29, 2018 at Hightower Memorial Temple Church. Citizens and constituents of Ward 1 were present and voiced their concerns relating to utilities, public safety, ordinances and other issues in the community.

The purpose of Chat N’ Chew Listening Sessions is to provide positive interaction between residents, Mayor Tony Paulk and City Commissioners. By providing these sessions, city officials hope to work together with residents to create and implement positive solutions for community issues. The City of Douglas would like to express a special thanks to Hightower Memorial Temple Church for allowing the use of their facility and providing refreshments for the listening session.

The next Chat N’ Chew will be held in Ward 2. Details will be announced at a later date.
