Mrs. Vivian Ricketson Law, age 73 of Douglas passed away early Wednesday morning, January 31, 2018 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following a short illness. Mrs. Law, was born August 30, 1944 to the late Tom Watson Ricketson and the late Rose Lee Harrell Ricketson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Terrell Ray Law.

Mrs. Law, a native of Coffee County, retired as a Ward Clerk with Coffee Regional Medical Center.

Survivors include: daughter, Lisa Lee and her husband Rodney of Douglas, GA; grandchildren: Joey Petro and Ashley Petro both of Douglas, GA; cousins including: Janice Ely of Fitzgerald, GA and June Wynn of Haines City, FL

The funeral service was held Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 2 P.M. at the Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home where Rev. Joey Veal officiated. A Special Eulogy was given by Joy Pruitt. The interment followed in Douglas City Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers were: Jonathan O’Steen, Steve Pruitt, J. L. Ely, Trey Jowers, Shelton Harrell and Jaron McKinnon. Honorary Pallbearers were: Blake Anderson and Brad Courson. A Special Musical Selection, “What A Day That Will Be” was presented by Joy Pruitt with Taped Music. “Pre-Lude” soft hymns were rendered by Joy Pruitt at the Keyboard and “Pre-Lude” soft hymns were presented by CD Music.

Ricketson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
