Alma PD announce last week’s arrests, charges ranging from outstanding warrants to drug possession

Monday morning, April 9, APD arrested Natasha Rea Peterson, 32 of Alma, for outstanding warrants in Douglas, GA, and Hinesville, GA. Peterson’s arrest followed APD assisting another agency while searching for another wanted fugitive.

Monday afternoon, April 9, APD arrested Robert Faulk, 51 of Alma, for battery-family violence and cruelty to children-3rd degree. Faulk’s arrest followed a domestic dispute at Flash Foods.

Afterward, APD’s Crime Suppression Unit stopped a vehicle in the 300 block of E. 6th St. for a seatbelt violation. Mark Ashley Carter, 49 of Alma, was arrested on outstanding warrants through Bacon County.

Later, on Monday, April 9, APD’s Crime Suppression Unit stopped a vehicle in the 100 block of N. Baker St. for no license plate. Becky Lynn O’Neal, 39 of Alma, was arrested for driving with a suspended driver’s license and no license plate.

Monday evening, April 9, APD’s Crime Suppression Unit stopped a vehicle in the 1500 block of W. 12th St. for several traffic violations. Kevin Parker Haselden, 30 of Alma, was arrested for DUI-drugs as well as a couple of other traffic offenses.

Tuesday, April 10, APD arrested Ashley Dixon, 31 of Alma, for disorderly conduct. Dixon’s arrest followed a 911 call to the 500 block of E. 14th St. regarding unruly juveniles.

Wednesday, April 11, APD’s Crime Suppression Unit stopped a vehicle on S. Pierce St. for a seatbelt violation. Tammy Rena Howell, 42 of Alma, was arrested for outstanding warrants through the Bacon County.

Wednesday evening, April 11, APD arrested Dionico Cueves Aguilar, 36 of Baxley, for no driver’s license and a taillight violation.

Thursday morning, April 12, APD arrested Martin Espana-Leyva, 18 of Alma, for misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of a schedule IV controlled substance. Espana-Leyva’s arrest followed school officials discovering the contraband.

Friday afternoon, April 13, APD’s Crime Suppression Unit stopped a vehicle on W. 12th St. for an equipment violation. APD arrested William Dan Taylor, 44 of Nicholls, for DUI-Drugs, an equipment violation, no license plate, no insurance, driving with a suspended driver’s license, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, possession of a schedule II controlled substance, and possession of a schedule IV controlled substance.

Friday evening, April 13, APD responded to a domestic dispute in the 500 block of S. Bead St. APD arrested Daniel McKenzie, 28 of Alma, for disorderly conduct. McKenzie’s arrest followed McKenzie’s refusal to comply with law enforcement officers.

Saturday, April 14, APD arrested Georgia Jane McKinnon, 79 of Nicholls, for reckless driving, suspended registration, and simple assault. McKinnon’s arrest followed a 911 call of a reckless driver passing other vehicles in no passing zones causing some of the other drivers to run off the roadway. During the traffic stop, McKinnon attempted to assault the 911 caller – an off-duty law enforcement officer who stopped to assist on-duty officers.
