Troy Leon Morris, age 64, passed away on Tuesday April 24, 2018 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. Morris was born May, 23, 1953 in Jeff Davis County the son of the late Jeff Morris and Leona Kersey Morris.

He loved to go fishing, hunting and working in his yard.

Mr. Morris was preceded in death by: a brother, Bobby Morris; and two sisters: Onadeen Merritt and Margarette Mimbs.

Survivors include: his wife, Sheila Morris of West Green, GA; sons: Chris Morris and wife Tina of Brunswick, GA, Jacob Morris of West Green, GA and Michael Anderson of West Green, GA; step-son, Buddy Browning and wife Amy of Brunswick, GA; daughters:Angela Peacock and husband Robbie of Douglas, GA and Gina Fuller and husband Sammy of Brunswick, GA; brother, Carlton Morris and wife Lynn of Gainesville, GA; sister, Catherine (Cat) Pritchard and husband Tommy of West Green, GA; special niece, Tonia Carver of Douglas, GA; grandchildren: Lilly Herrington and husband Kason of Hazelhurst, GA, Colby Peacock and wife Bridgette of Douglas, GA, Josh Peacock of Portal, GA, Anzleigh Morris, Dawson Anderson and Mason Morris all of West Green, GA, Brayden Anderson of Alma, GA and Quinton Fuller of Brunswick, GA; great grandchildren: Damieyen Peacock of Douglas, GA and Brooklyn Herrington of Hazelhurst, GA; numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Thursday April 26, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home Chapel where Rev. Kevin Bounds officiated. Interment followed in Calvary Full Gospel Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Dewayne Carver, Kameron Carver, Mason Morris, Chris Morris, Michael Anderson and Max Claxton.

Sims Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
