Sanilla Moore Welborn, age 96, of West Green, passed away on Sunday August 18, 2019 at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Welborn was born on October 22, 1922 in Coffee County, Georgia the daughter of the late Clifton F. Moore and Eva Burkett Moore.
She retired after thirty years with the Civil Service Administration with the United States Navy and was a member of West Green Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Welborn; two brothers, James C. Moore and John N. Moore; and one sister, Ruth Moore.
Survivors include two sisters, Janette Moore Johns of West Green and Florence M. Anderson of West Green; several nieces and nephews; special grandnieces and grandnephews, Garnett Moore, Brodie Moore and Baylee Moore.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday August 21, 2019 at 4:00 pm in the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin Bounds officiating. Interment will follow in the Burkett Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon from 3 pm until 4 pm prior to the service.
