EVE celebrates new ownership with ribbon cutting

The Douglas-Coffee County Chamber of Commerce celebrated a ribbon cutting at EVE, a well-known women’s boutique located in downtown Douglas since 2004.

In 2019, Coffee County native Blair Brawner made a decision to return to Douglas to launch her own women’s boutique. She recently became the new owner of EVE and completed an amazing renovation. Brawner shared, “EVE has been a part of the downtown district for 15 years and was a perfect fit for me. It already has a strong reputation for the latest trends in women’s fashion and my goal is to bring a fresh take to the well-established business. Sarah Evans opened the boutique in 2004 and was able to fill a great need for women’s clothing in Douglas. In 2014, Eve Brawner became the owner and was able to increase social media presence which resulted in even more loyal customers. My hope for EVE is to continue what these women began by expanding the inventory with selections that will speak to every woman regardless of size, age or budget.”

Ms. Brawner shared that she is so excited to return to Douglas for this opportunity with so many new people and families moving here and our downtown growing and thriving like never before. “Having the opportunity to be a part of that growth and support of our beautiful town is a dream come true for me,” she stated.

Eve is a proud member of the Douglas-Coffee County Chamber of Commerce and an active participant in Downtown Douglas activities and First Friday events. Stop by EVE soon to see the beautiful renovations, clothing, jewelry and accessories. EVE is located at 200 E Ward Street in Douglas and can be contacted at 912-383-7462.
