Ms. Delga Cecilia Cox, age 63 of Ambrose, passed away Thursday afternoon, October 10, 2019 at her residence following an extended illness. Ms. Cox was born January 30, 1956 to the late Cecil Cox and the late Louise Griffin Cox. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Cecil Ashley Griffin, and a brother, Calvin Cox.
Ms. Cox, a native of Irwin County, was a homemaker.
Survivors include: Son Franklin Laray Griffin of Ambrose; five granddaughters; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
The funeral service was Saturday evening, October 12, 2019 at 6:00 P.M. at Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Maher officiating.
Ricketson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
