Mrs. Shelba Jean Davis Hile, age 80 of Jacksonville, Fla., passed away quietly at her home surrounded by loved ones on, Sunday, November 17, 2019, after a courageous battle with lung cancer.  Formerly of Willacoochee, Jean was born on February 5, 1939. She had made Jacksonville her home for the last eleven years.  

Jean will be remembered as a loving mother, sister, daughter, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother, as well as a dear friend to those who shared her life.  She enjoyed many hobbies including fishing, traveling and going on gambling trips to Mississippi and Las Vegas. But most of all, she enjoyed time spent with family.  Jean was preceded in death by her daughter, Stacey Lynn; and two sons, Mark Anthony and Rodger Leroy Hile. 

Survivors include: Son Randy Hile and wife, Frances, of Jacksonville, Fla.; grandchildren Stacey Jean and husband, Jonny, Lacey Nichole Campbell, Austin Lee Hile and wife, Shelby, Jason Jones and wife, Kerry, Jeffrey Walters, Christopher Hile and wife, Ashly; and Rachael Hammond and husband, Rhett; great-grandchildren Randall Herrington, Tristan Campbell, Jace Campbell, and Hayden Leigh Hile.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hile will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Willacoochee Church of God in Willacoochee with Rev. Lance Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Willacoochee City Cemetery.

Visitation for Mrs. Hile will be held, Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. from 6:00-9:00 p.m.

Mrs. Hile will lie in state Sunday, November 24, 2019 at Willacoochee Church of God from 2:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.

Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson is in charge of the arrangements.
