Mrs. Evelyn Lois Cady Mills, age 85, of Douglas, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2019, at Southern Senior Living. Mrs. Mills was born on May 31, 1934, in Douglas to the late Paul Devair Cady and Annie Mae Little Cady.

 

Survivors include: Daughters Beth (Charles) Harper of Douglas, Paula (Kevin) Kneeland of Douglas and Rhonda (Jim) M. Abajian of Douglas; son William B (Debra) Mills of Douglas; sister Faye Cady Adams of Douglas; grandchildren Wendy (Bernie) Forth, Tara (Dustin) Simpson, Joey and Kirk Solomon, Walter Mazer, Lindy Lott, Brody (Jessica) Mills, and Chelesa Kneeland; step-grandchild Baylee Lott; great-grandchildren Gage Aldridge, Drew Forth, Mason and Joley Solomon, Eli Lott, Creyler Mazer, and Brilee Mill; and great-great-grandchild Mathis  Aldridge.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Osbon Leon Mills; father, Paul Devair Cady; mother, Annie Mae Little Cady; sisters Ruth Cady Weeks, Chris Cady Purvis, Carolyn Cady Wright, and Lou Cady Ray; brother, Lawton Cady, and grandson, Will Mazer.

 

The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 10, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Sims Funeral Home.

 

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with Bishop Timothy Fussell, Bishop Michael Jackson, Beth Harper and Charlie Sims officiating.

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
