Coffee County Schools recently attended the Career Fair on the campus of South Georgia State College (SGSC) to promote the teaching profession with students.  Over the past several years, the school district has employed SGSC graduates, who completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology to teach science at the secondary level.  Hired provisionally, the students then complete either an alternative certification program or a Masters in Teaching to earn full certification.

With the new four-year degree program that is now offered at SGSC in Elementary Education/Special Education, the school district looks forward to their continued partnership with the college in hiring future educators.

Coffee County Schools will be having their annual Teacher Job Fair on Saturday, March 14, 9:00 – Noon on the campus of Coffee High.  If you are interested in learning more about the Steps to Teaching as a profession, you are welcome to attend the job fair as information will be provided.
