Mr. Albert Lavern Taylor, age 77 of Nicholls, passed away Thursday afternoon, April 30, 2020 at Bacon County Hospital in Alma following a short illness. Mr. Taylor was born February 24, 1943 to the late Albert Lee Taylor and the late Ivalee Music Taylor.

Mr. Taylor, a native of Bacon County, was a well-known farmer in the Bacon County area.

Survivors include: His wife Betty Weathers Taylor of Nicholls, GA; daughters Cheryl Hyers of Alma, GA, Darlene Cumbass of Douglas, Crissy Harrison of Douglas, GA, and Dianne Taylor of Baxley, GA; half-sister Trina Taylor of Alma, GA; and 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

The graveside service and interment were held Saturday afternoon, May 2, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at the Taylor Family Cemetery in Bacon County with Rev. T. F. Yawn officiating.

Ricketson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
