Joanne Adams, age 73, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2020. Mrs. Adams was born on January 12, 1947 in Coffee County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Lee Claude Moore and Vivian Frances Lankford Moore.

Mrs. Adams was a homemaker and was preceded in death by two sisters, Vera Moses and Carol Ann Harper.

Survivors include four daughters, Tammy Merritt (Scott) of Broxton, GA, Vickie Deen of Douglas, GA, Deborah Davis of Douglas, GA and Stephanie Davis (Tracey) of Douglas, GA; son, Dwayne Deen (Sandra) of Nicholls, GA; four brothers, Lee Moore (Brenda) of Douglas, GA, Eddie Moore of Douglas, GA, Donnie Moore (Darleen) of Douglas, GA and Ricky Moore (Linnie Faye) of Axson, GA; sister, Linda Schwindle (Jim) of Douglas, GA; ten grandchildren, Amanda and Lester Chauncey, April Davis, Mathew Deen, Jeremy and Lori Deen, Steven and Elizabeth Davis, Jason and Brittany Davis, Alley and Crederius Davis, Blake Jewell, Logan Merritt and Madison Merritt; eleven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Memorialization is by cremation.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
