Lurlyne Sapp McDuffie, age 83, of Broxton, Georgia passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2020. Mrs. McDuffie was born on June 4, 1936 in Coffee County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Leroy and Rosa Mae Brigmond Sapp.

 

Mrs. McDuffie retired from Coffee Regional Medical Center as a supervisor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Beverly Harper, granddaughter, Brandi Harper and grandson, Lucian Harper.

 

Survivors include two daughters, Anelle Stanfield of Douglas, GA and Connie Carter of Douglas, GA; son, Howard Carter Jr (Debbie) of Douglas, GA; four grandchildren, Chris Stanfield (Crystal), Blake Stanfield (Taylor), Cody Carter (Ashlyn) and Megan Carter; seven great grandchildren, Raylyn Griffin, Mallory Cribb, Kegan Litner, Harper Litner, Courtney Jowers, Drew Jowers (Shannon) and Christian Stanfield; brother, Roy Sapp (Gloria) Thousand Oaks, CA; several nieces and nephews.

 

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 11:00am at Broxton Church of God Cemetery with Rev. Marlon Smith officiating.

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
