Three Trojans win region titles on day one of meet

Three Trojans came out of day one of the region track meet with individual region championships.

 

Braydon Bailey (3200 meter run, 12:45.90), Cameron Watson (3200 meter run, 9:58.90), and Chris Stafford (triple jump, 43’2”) brought region titles to Coffee High. In addition to their performances, several other athletes qualified for state sectionals:

 

Kate Merritt – 3200 meter run

Morgan Adams, Ainsley Myers, Brayden Bailey, Kate Merritt – 4×800 relay

Gabby Mann – long jump, triple jump

Olan Dickson, Garrett Mancil, Carter Young, Hunter Milhollin 4×800 relay

Chris Stafford and Tyriq Edwards – long jump

Zyshon Reed – shot put

Earnest Edwards — discus

 

The second day of the track meet took place Thursday at Warner Robins. Day two results are not yet available.
