Mr. Richard L. Thurston, age 62 of Douglas, passed away Monday morning, May 2, 2022 at Vista Park following an extended illness. Mr. Thurston was born June 5, 1959 to the late Harry Thurston and the late Marie Smith Thurston. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Laney Whitley and a sister, Mary Helen Brigmond.

The funeral service will be Tuesday afternoon, May 3, 2022 at 4:00 PM at Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday afternoon, May 3, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home.
