Judith Ann Carter Sapp, age 83, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at Coffee Regional Medical Center.  Mrs. Sapp was born on February 21, 1939, to the late Owen C. Carter and the late Julia Ramsey Carter.

 

 

Survivors include: Son: Steve (Denise) Sapp of Douglas, GA. Granddaughter: Shannon (Devin) Foldy of Newnan, GA.  Three Great Grandchildren: London Foldy, Charlotte Foldy and Rawlins  Foldy. Sister: Betty Sue (Troy) Mattox of Blackshear, GA.  Five Nieces: Lindsey Wilcox Brown, Rhonda Sapp, Donia Padgett, Yvette Cauley, and Dynette. Three Nephews: Gentry Mattox, Casey Mattox, and Wally Sapp. She was preceded in death by: Father; Owen Clarence Carter, Mother: Julia Elizabeth Ramsey Carter, Husband: Linton Donald “LD” Sapp, and Sister: Cathy Carter Wilcox.

 

 

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at 11:00am at Sims Chapel with Rev. Steve Atkinson officiating. Interment followed at Douglas City Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be: Devin Foldy, Casey Mattox, Gentry Mattox, Wally Sapp, Kaine Brown, TJ Hutto, Scott Taylor, and Ken Floyd.

 

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
