Dorothy L. Hawkins of Alma, GA, age 77, passed away suddenly at her residence on September 27, 2022.
She was preceded in death by her Father: Dan Davis of Ware County, GA, Mother: Ciller Taylor of Baxley, GA, Son: Danny Jo Mercer of Douglas, GA and numerous Brothers and Sisters.
She was survived by Daughter: June Brown (Richard Brown) of Douglas, GA, Son: Carl Mercer Sr. of Alma, GA, Son: Billy Whitley Jr. (Angel Whitley) of Alma, GA, Grandsons: Tyler Mercer Sr. (Kayla Mercer) and Carl Mercer Jr. both of Alma, GA, Great Grandsons: Issac, Tyler Jr. and Grant Mercer, Sisters: Melba Davis, Linda Johnson, Bonnie Touchton and numerous Nieces and Nephews.
Dorothy was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her loved ones. Her great grandbabies were her pride and joy.
She loved her flowers and coloring pictures. She will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be at Sims funeral Home October 3, 2022 from 11:00AM to 1:00PM.
Funeral services will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery in Alma, GA on Monday, October 3, 2022 at 2:00PM.
