Howell and Clara Laverne Stevens will be laid to rest in a double memorial service held Saturday, October 15, 2022.

 

 

Howell Stevens Sr. passed away at the age of 82, in 2014 following an extended illness. He was born to Henry and Verdie Thomas Stevens on February 22, 1931.

 

 

Clara Laverne Crews Stevens passed away at the age of 81, in 2021. She was born to Ellis Crews and Willie Mae Tarrence Crews on August 2, 1940.

Survivors include their Two Sons: Henry Howell (Janet) Stevens Jr. of Nicholls, GA, Bruce Harlen (Robin) Stevens of Nicholls, GA, Daughter: Bonita Bridgett (Bryan) Rhoden of MacClenny, FL, Grandchildren: Jacob Kyle Stevens, Rebecca Nicole Helms, Erik Bruce Rhoden, and Samantha Danielle Rhoden, Eight Great Grandchildren and One Great Great Grandchild. Howell’s Sister: Irma James and Brother: Tommy Dean Stevens. Clara’s Sister: Eleanor Wright. Howell was preceded in death by: Brother: Jimmy Ray Stevens, Sister: Helen Stovell, Father: Henry Stevens, Mother: Verdie Thomas Stevens. Clara was preceded in death by: Father: Ellis Crews, Mother Willie Mae Tarrence crews, Sister: Elizabeth Clough and Brother: Ellis Eugene Crews.

 

 

Memorial graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 11:00AM at Roberts Cemetery with Rev. Casey Wright officiating.

 

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
