Anita Horton Corbitt, 60

Anita Horton Corbitt, age 60, of West Green, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022. Ms. Corbitt was born on September 23, 1962, in Kansas City, KS to James Daniel Horton and Ada Ludell Bowen Horton.

 

 

Survivors include: Two Sons: James Allen (Jessica) Corbitt of Nicholls, GA, Richard Daniel (Sabrina) Corbitt of West Green, GA, Grandchild: James Daniel Corbitt, Two Brothers: Franklin Horton, John Horton, Sons she raised: Daniel Fraces, Greg Lott, Jimmy Thomas, Brian Graham, John Wesley Kirkland, Daughters she raised: April Burkett, Miranda Bruce, Brook Lott, Victoria Merritt and several Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by; Father: J.D. Horton, Mother: Ludell Davis, Husband: Ricky Corbitt, Grandson: Ricky Daniel Corbitt, Sister: Sherry Horton, Brother: Jimmy Horton.

 

 

The family will receive friends Friday, November 4, 2022 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at Pineview Church of God.

 

 

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 4, 2022 at 11:00AM at Pineview Church of God with Rev. Craig Jump officiating. Interment followed at Lone Hill Church Cemetery.  Active Pallbearers will be:  Mark Horton, Alex Horton, Brian Graham, Anthony Waldron, Jethro Wright and Gabe Carelock.

 

 

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations for funeral expenses. Donations can be made through secured website or call into Sims Funeral Home Inc., 912-384-1234.

 

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
