Quashaw Marqise Tucker, who was out of jail on bond for drug possession and distribution charges stemming from an October 2022 investigation, has been arrested again, this time on charges related to possession, sale, and trafficking of illegal drugs.

The Coffee County Drug Unit conducted a series of investigations on April 20, 2023, that led officers to Tucker’s home on Davis Avenue — the same house they searched on October 17, 2022 that yielded a large quantity of illegal drugs.

Just before the officers raided Tucker’s residence for the second time, they arrested his cousin, Travis B. Tucker, after he allegedly failed to use a blinker while changing lanes. During the stop, officers smelled marijuana inside the vehicle. That led to a search and officers found 58 grams of marijuana, 20 grams of MDMA, and a black digital scale. Travis Tucker was charged with distribution of a controlled substance and possession of drug related objects.

Earlier in the day, drug officers had conducted another traffic stop that resulted in drug-related arrests. Two women, Wanda Marie Hollinger and Tonya Marie Lopez, were both arrested and jailed on methamphetamine charges.

Both of these investigations were part of a larger ongoing operation involving Quashaw Tucker. After these two arrests, drug investigators moved on Quashaw Tucker’s residence.

During the October investigation, Quashaw Tucker had most of the contraband inside his home. Since then, however, he has kept his illegal drugs away from his house, according to officers. Most of the suspected illegal drugs were found on a wooded vacant lot beside Quashaw Tucker’s Davis Avenue home. Officers found 11.6 ounces of methamphetamine, 11.5 ounces of marijuana, and a small quantity of crack cocaine in another location on the property.

According to an incident report, investigators determined that Quashaw Tucker was distributing various illegal drugs to lower level dealers who sold the drugs throughout Douglas and Coffee County.

They arrested Quashaw Tucker and charged him with trafficking methamphetamine, sale of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), sale of a controlled substance (MDMA), sale of a controlled substance (marijuana), use of a telecommunication facility (drug transaction), possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and possession of a controlled substance. He was transported to the Coffee County Jail where he was denied bond.

Another individual, Clariesha Roundtree, was also arrested for allegedly playing a role in the drug distribution ring. However, she is pregnant and expected to give birth very soon; as such, she was released.

On October 17, 2022, drug officers searched Quashaw Tucker’s home and found suspected illegal drugs then. He was arrested and charged with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of marijuana. He was booked into the Coffee County Jail but released on bond. He still faces those charges in addition to those from the April 20, 2023, operation.
