Mrs. Kate Bailey Wade, age 74 years old of Pearson, Ga. passed away, Monday, July 3, 2023, at her home following a short illness.  

 

 

Survivors include:

 

 

2 Sons:  Michael “Coolie” Joyner and wife, Terri of Pearson, Ga.

 

 

Jason Joyner and wife, Kristi of Pearson, Ga.

 

 

Special Friend: Janet Critzer

 

 

2 Grandchildren:  Aaron Joyner and Jaxton Joyner

 

 

Great-Grandchild:  Rilynn Joyner

 

 

Several nieces and nephews along with several other relatives also survive.  

 

 

Mrs. Wade was preceded in death by: 

 

 

Parents: Alfred Bailey and Catherine Blackmon Bailey

 

 

Husband:  John Ellis Wade

 

 

2 Brothers:  John Henry Bailey & Buddy Bailey

 

 

Sister:  Luanne Bailey

 

 

Granddaughter:  Lindsey Joyner

 

 

Grandson:  Jase Joyner

 

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Wade will be held Thursday, July 6, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Covenant Church with Bro. Michael Johnson, Bro. Jody Silvers, and Bro. Randall Rhymes officiating.  The interment will follow in Sweetwater Cemetery.

 

 

Visitation for Mrs. Wade will be held Wednesday, July 5, 2023, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Relihan Funeral Home.  Mrs. Wade will also lie in state Thursday morning, July 6, at Covenant Church from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.

 

 

Relihan Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
